Yet as we traverse
Trying trails
It is certain
Something to accept
To embrace
To even envelop
Ourselves in
As a reminder that
We are living
Breathing
Growing
Learning
Loving
Dreaming…
Of all that
Yet may be
Because we are
Lighter than air
Letting go of
Past pain
And
Present preoccupations
Taking delight
In our flexible flight
The pulsing power
Propelling us
Up and over
And through
This transformative transition
And onto
The next one
With all of its color
Sound and energy
Whipping in our wings.
