“Transition”, a 12 x 12 Original Oil Palette Knife Abstract depicting the tumult and excitement involved as we packed up our Virginia mountain life, deep roots and all, and relocated in our new home by the sea. This very special piece from September 1, 2015, was my last creation in my first studio under the trees juxtaposed to the sacred ground of Holly’s Garden. I wish I could have brought that sweet nook of the world with me to Charleston, but I brought it in precious transplanted ferns and flowers. I brought the essence and energy of Holly’s Garden and my little mountain studio here, and its Spirit continues to guide my brush and palette knife.
